What was TV like 10 years ago? What about 20 or 30 years ago or more?
Thanks to vintage advertising we can get at least some idea of what TV used to be like, which features used to be a big deal, what technology was exploding onto the scene, and what ad managers thought would sell the latest in entertainment.
Of course, you don’t have to be from the Mad Men era to appreciate the creativity and humor from some of the earliest print ads for TV. From the 50s to the 80s, here are 300 remarkable print TV ads in one collection.
